WHO ARE THE BAND BOOSTERS?
The Rams Band Boosters is an outside non-profit organization made up of parents or guardians of band students and other interested supporters of the Northeast Marching Band. If you're a parent of a band student, you're automatically a Band Booster! STAY IN THE LOOP. PURPOSE
To promote and facilitate the production of music by the NEHS band for the edification and enjoyment of others.
To raise additional funds to supplement band fees to cover expenses of performances, travel, etc.
To provide support to the band director and assistant band director.
To facilitate communication between band director and band parents.
To coordinate auxiliary projects which will ease the tasks of the band director: provide water during marching practice, drinks during third quarter breaks at football games; chaperone band events; make phone calls and send email to inform of band events; and coordinate social events.
To assist in care, maintenance and distribution of marching uniforms.
To capture on film, for photos and video, activities of the band members to provide memories for band members.
To assist in transportation, set up and break down of pit equipment during performances.

HOW DO I JOIN?Behind every successful student organization stands a parent support group willing to serve the students and directors of that organization. You can make a difference simply by your presence. At a time when your child is making critical decisions about ethics, behavior, integrity, and the future, it is important for you to be involved. The Band Boosters is an excellent way to stay involved.

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?Each parent has something to contribute. Expertise is needed in every possible area from making phone calls, sewing and word processing to accounting, or even baking/cooking. Our collective group of parents provides the tools of every trade. Many parents think that the sole purpose of the Booster Club is fundraising. While that is part of what they do, the main purpose is to create a partnership that connects students, parents, and director.

WHAT DO THE BAND BOOSTERS DO?The Boosters' mission is to promote, aid, and financially assist the Northeast Guilford High School band program, its students, staff, and parents by fostering responsibility, pride, and excellence in musicianship in the students, by supporting the band directors' vision, assisting the band in their activities and shows, and promoting band involvement in our community.
